I started my career in the Hair Extensions area at the end of 2009.
I worked in a neighborhood salon, in a very simple place. Where I was a nail designer, the salon owner did hair extensions (Italian knot method).
One day she asked me if I wanted the to learn how to do apply hair extensions and keep her customers because her husband that was transferred to another state to work.
I freaked out immediately and said: Do I have any chances? She said: “If I you keep the same patience and dedication that you do your customers’ nails, You will go far.” I said yes.
After that, the salon owner had 3 days to teach me the Italian knot technique.
I dedicated myself to learning and taking responsibility.
In 6 months I’ve doubled my clientele.
I started to improve every day. I’ve invested in more knowledge and opportunities. I listened to my clients a lot and I still do that today. And on top of every complaint they had, I looked for ways to solve it.
I’ve fell in love with my career and I decided that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. Being megarista was my choice.
Time passed and I had to change to grow a lot in the business.
It all happened very fast.
In 2 years I had my first big salon in the neighborhood that I started. I’ve worked hard, day and night. So many times, I left the salon at 4am, unable to get my foot off the floor. So much pain. But I didn’t give up and I will never do that!
Evolution Hair Extension Development
I started to develop the Evolution Hair Mariana Plaster method in 2013.
The mission was to preserve the health of the customer’s hair, to reduce application and maintenance time to the maximum.
Minimize discomfort to the maximum by adapting the method, and everything that could be done for all customers.
Evolution Hair Mariana Plaster method is a totally handmade method, a thin and flexible canvas, where I implant a micropeel.
In this micropeel, I adhere to the adhesive tape. I only use 10% of the client’s hair to apply, the rest is all free.
Maximum application time: 1h.
Adaptation: The client does not feel pain, does not hurt the scalp.I have articles from dermatologists, indicating and approving my Evolution Hair method.
Maintenance: maximum 2h and the hair is done. When removing, the customer does not lose hair. We do not use anything sharp e everything is done with great patience to ensure the health of the hair.
